Agape Health Care Clinic

This has been a year of firsts for me. Tonight was no exception.

More than a year ago, a vision was cast to open a free Christian health care clinic in DeRidder, Louisiana. People from every walk of life came together and made this dream a reality. Christway Church did its part as well with demolition, cleanup, and even the installation of the new drywall. I watched as an old building used for storage was transformed into a state-of-the-art treatment facility, staffed with doctors, nurses, chaplains, and support personnel. It even has a stocked pharmacy! Wow!

Tonight was the first night we were open for business. Things went well. Every patient was attended to in an awesome way and treated for what ailed them. Even better for me was the opportunity to be a spiritual doctor. A huge part of this vision is not only to treat the body, but the spirit as well.
