Christway’s nursery is for ages 3 and under. We have volunteers from within the church who donate their time to care for our church babies. There are usually two ladies on Sundays to help, and one volunteer on Wednesday night service (smaller group on Wednesday night).
We volunteer our time so that parents are able to enjoy the church service without fear of their babies making too much noise. We now have a paging system that we use to contact the parents if they are needed back in the nursery. All babies are signed in and given a number, which will appear on the big screen to call the parents to the nursery.
Our hope is that the parents are comfortable with our nursery and feel like their children are in good hands and taken care of. While in the nursery we strive to provide a loving atmosphere to meet the babies’ needs.
