April 15th, better known as Federal Tax Day to many Americans, has just come and gone. But this year was different than any other tax day that I am aware of. Hundreds of thousands of people in almost every city in this great country gathered in parks, plazas, and city halls to say to our government: Enough is enough. Stop the wasteful pork barrel spending. Stop the social engineering. Stop the assault on the family values that made this country strong. Stop the liberal judges who continually overstep their authority and legislate from the bench.

Well, DeRidder was no exception. Hundreds of people gathered in front of City Hall to let their voices be heard. I was honored with an invitation to speak. You know me, I was more than happy to sound the call to let freedom ring. My friends, the only way that darkness can win is if the light doesn’t show up. It is time for God’s people to light up the darkness.

It was an awesome day, and I do hope, the beginning of a new day in this great country that God has so abundantly blessed.
