Well we have officially had our first Sunday service in the new building. The Lodge, as we like to call it, looks great. We call it The Lodge because from the porch, through the foyer and down the corridor is all log! The Sanctuary is sheet rock along with the nursery and toddler rooms.
We still have lots of decorating to do and are still waiting on our new chairs which I hope will be in very shortly. We will be able to seat 761 people. That’s a bunch of folks, but our goal is to fill it up twice. Christway Church service times are 8:45 a.m and 10:45 a.m. on Sundays and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Come on out and see what the Lord has done!

It’s good to see that Christ’s church is growing in DeRidder. The picture looks really nice. I pray that all is well with you and I know that you’ve been out hunting. :0) The rifle season is just about to open here. I believe it is in November. We are now in the black powder and bow season right now.
